The History Of The Pop-Electro Genre..
The term pop music means popular music, it has erythematic and melodies and often has an electronic sound to it, the term was first used in 1926 but it emerged out of rock and roll music in the 1950’s in the USA and UK and can often be categorised with a verse and repeated chorus. Often the pop music conventions are things such as a lot of color, stylists as they are very in particular about clothes they wear to create the right look, this can be anything from simple clothing to more formal, for example most females in a pop Genre wear skirts or dresses, and a lot of people in bands wear matching colours. Sometimes pop music can have very complex music videos to make it popular, so people get interested and enjoy watching them, making their fan base grow. All this is key as it is reliant on their popularity and appealing to their target audience, which is around the teen age although many out of this age range favor pop.
