Analysing 'Skin I'm In' By Static Revenge..

This music video is also from Static Revenge, therefore I am beginning to understand the type of style which he likes in his videos. This video is similar to 'I like that' as it is very technological, and there are many different effects throughout it. The mise en scene within this music video has alot wider range than in the 'happy people' video, as there are more characters, who wear both going out and casual clothes. There are also use of props such as the headphones and magazines at the beginning of the video, also at certain times throughout the opening, both of the main characters shown wear sunglasses, this could be to 'hide' their identities before they begin to feel comfortable with the skin they are in, which is the message behind the song. There are a variety of camera angles throughout this music video such as close up, medium shot, wide shot, two people shot and three people shots. There are also shots which have a deep field of roads in the background with flashing lights, which looks very effective. There are many different editing effects throughout this music video, such as fade in, fade out, split screen and dissolving of the characters. I think the effects in the video make it look more modern and catchy for the audience. Overall, I like this music video because I think it is different and modern.
