I think our props list ties in with the media theory of Richard Dyer (1997) of how we represent ourselves through objects. The use of props which we have included show the self-image which we present to the audience, is unique and in fashion, we have decided to be bold and strong, which is exactly what the Pop-Electro genre is about.
