Feedback on filming the busted remake

During my previous media studies lessons, as a group we have been working together, to create a remake of the busted song 'Thats what I go to school for'. This has been very enjoyable but has also been very difficult.

Within filming, my role was to play one of the girls in the classroom, and a background dance in the main scene. However when it came to the day of filming people decided they didn't want to be certain roles, hence why i had to step in and be the girl who smiles and gets rejected. This obviously made it difficult for us as a group, as people who we were relying on, weren't co-operating. Also many people in the group forgot their costumes, which also made our group smaller and roles had to be edited.

I found my role fairly easy, however i also helped the directors in areas, where I thought certain lighting wasn't appropriate, or that there was a piece of filming equipment in the background of a shot etc.

I thought the editing process wasn't as hard for this task, as it was for the task where I made a "Girls Aloud" remake, which is also on my blog. This was because i was familiar with the lip syncing idea, and also felt comfortable using the editing software. There were times however, where I found it difficult trying to match both the music and the video, therefore, i ended up using different clips in-between to fill out the gaps in the timing. However to do this, i worked alongside watching the busted video on youtube, and made sure mine was following the same tracks.

Overall, I have enjoyed making this busted video, as I think we have all worked well together as a group, and have produced a good video as a result.
